British singer CORINNE BAILEY RAE is making a return to the public spotlight - to perform for the first time since the tragic death of her husband JASON RAE.
The Put Your Records On star was widowed when her musician husband was found dead in a Leeds flat in February (08), with preliminary pathologist's report suggesting his death was caused by a drugs overdose.
The star buried Rae in April (08) at a service attended by stars including music producer Mark Ronson, before fleeing the music scene in order to grieve.
But the singer is set to make her first live appearance to play on Britain's Channel 4's Live From Abbey Road TV show - filmed at the London recording studio made famous by the Beatles.
She will join legendary jazz musician Herbie Hancock to play the set on Thursday (26Jun08).
